Personal Writing
Here I include a selection of my own writing which takes the forms of both screenplays and prose. Not all of them are finished and are mainly just ideas and experiments, written for my own pleasure.
Academic
I include several academic pieces which may also be of interest. I had to complete these for my A Level English, Graphics and Geography courses. All were assessed and received high marks.
This is the full coursework document for my Geography A Level. I was required to conduct a fully independent investigation on a geographical topic of my choice, including all standard components of an investigation; literature review, methodology, risk assessment, primary and secondary research, data analysis and final conclusions.
This essay was created as part of my Graphics coursework and answers the question: "How Has Graphic Design Been Used in Travel?"
The larger of the two parts of my English coursework, this essay compares 1984 (George Orwell) and Stasiland: Stories from Behind the Berlin Wall (Anna Funder) in their success at portraying personal oppression.
This is a fictitious piece of writing in a traditional non-fiction memoir format, also created for my English coursework. It depicts a trip through the backwaters of Bangkok.
